The vision of the Outreach Ministry is to spread the message ‘Christian + Gay = OK’ to our LGBT community locally and at large, and to invite folks to come worship with us at FIC.

We seek to accomplish this by:

• Encouraging each and everyone in our church to witness to others and to invite others to church
• Operating a beverage booth at both SF Pride and the Folsom Street Fair
• Sharing information about reconciliation and salvation at SF Pride, the Folsom Street Fair, and the Castro Street Fair
• Often participating in the SF Pride Parade with a float announcing our message and church
• Doing one-on-one outreach in the Castro on the third Saturday of each month
• Offering, at least once a year, a seminar on Reconciling Homosexuality and the Bible
• Providing printed and audio (CD) materials for folks to study regarding Reconciling Homosexuality and the Bible
• Using other opportunities as they present themselves to reach different segments of the LGBT community with this message
